I almost skirted that wall by flying to Mexico or Costa Rica. I even spoke on the phone with and exchanged emails with doctors who saw photos, requested I send an impression of my teeth so they could give me an estimate of what it would cost me there. I wasn't kidding, I was ready to do it. Though MUCH cheaper, I still didn't earn enough money to do it in the end. Plus I had such bad periodontal disease, I was afraid the implants would fail and the money would again be down the drain. Maybe it isn't true that perio causes implants to fail more often, but I was afraid to risk it.

I don't know what to say about a dentist who doesn't want to give you nice dentures.
