I just had my perm's made and wondered if it will hurt to use polident to soak them in? Anyone? I know the dentist told me before with a soft reline not to soak them in anything but water-- will it hurt to use polident after a hard reline?

I had to read to children for 30 mins today, half way through I was in full gag mode and trying to hide it from 20+ 4 yr olds...not easy.
You give me hope that it will all work out!

I've been through the ups and downs with the teeth (happy over how they look, miserable over the adjustments, soreness and all of that). But I also have the sweats followed by chills at night and all the rest you described. Bad timing for the teeth or maybe it's better to get it all in at once! I'm with you on the hormone stuff. I've heard bad stuff and prefer to go through it without and see how it goes. I have a little better attitude this week because my teeth aren't hurting as bad and I'm eating much better. I went out and got myself a volunteer job with an "outreach group" helping homeless and underpriviledged. Its nice to be able to smile but now I feel guilty because many of them have bad teeth. At least I'm out of the house and it helps fill the time when I would otherwise be feeling sorry for myself (how ridiculously sad). Thanks for your comment and I look forward to exchanges with you.
