Thank you very much Omaha Angel for your sympathetic words and the good wishes. It's a very good idea indeed to come over for the dental work. The only problem is that I am on coumadin to prevent new blood clots in the legs. My physician wants that I take it for the rest of my life but I refused, so I promised him at least one year. But this means no dental work which is associated with the extraction of teeth for the bleeding wouldn't stop.
So I must postpone the dental treatment until May 2010. Meanwhile I have to save some money for the journey, the accommodation and the work itself.
I think that I'd be comfortable with AD if there is one that can be recommended. Or do you have other suggestions?
Since my 50th birthday is in late November of 2009 I'll look upon my dentures as my own delayed gift for birthday.

They think it may be cancer or a cyst from the pneumonia. So now they are trying to rush things up now. They should of done this back in Oct.

Good Morning. I am glad you're getting better. I have an appt at 9am with the bone doctor, and then.............whooooohooooo I go see Hot Prostho guy at 4!!!! I will be attached! And then sadly, I think we'll have to break things off between us. I am going to whine about getting a couple more appointment with him. I have to say though it's time for me to come to the end of my endless visits to the dentist. To replace him I've decided I am going to fill my life with good friends, good food, and happy laughter! So, I will be home after 10 am. How's that look for you?

Took me 6 days to get in first time, 2 months this last time. Tuesday at 8:00 am my last e-day. Anyway, My dentist said my partial is just as good as what he would have sold me, because it's a small no frills place, I guess that's why so cheap. I couldn't have done it otherwise, used all my yearly dental on root canal, fillings, etc. They told me people flew there from Washington State before because they were so expensive there.
