Has anyone been told they need to pay or dentures up front???

i went to someone today and you pay complete up front. Its their office policy for dentures.

I never heard of such a thing or am I living in the stone age?????????

I have never not paid a dentist and this makes me mad, and I had to pay 100 for a consult that I would of never went if I knew they wanted full payment up front.

I think it is very common. I think they have been stuck with the bill so many times that most have that as their policy now. I paid mine up front and I went to a very reputable Dentist. I have been to many dentists over the years and in the last 5 or so, I see most Dentists make you pay up front now.

Yes well I can see half when they start then the other half when you get the teeth and before you leave with them. Not the complete amount up front. alot depends if you know the dentist and have been going to him, but a new dentist I would think no.
